President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has opened the Golden Parade, carrying 22 mummies - 18 kings and four queens - at the newly-opened National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
A 21-gun salute was fired on 3dh of April 2021 in Cairo in honor of the Egyptian kings upon arrival . They include Senakhtenre, Ahmose I, Amenhotep I, Thutmose I, Thutmose II, Thutmose III, Seti I, Rameses III, Ramses II, Ramses IX, and Queen Ahmose-Nefertari
