Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani and Civil Aviation Minister Mohamed Manar, along with 30 foreign ambassadors in Egypt participated on Friday 25 of September in a cycling marathon in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
The marathon is organized by the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry to mark the World Tourism Day.
Assistant Foreign Minister For European Affairs, Badr Abdel Aati and President of the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Tourism Ahmed el-Wasif also participated in the marathon.
The marathon is held on the fringe of a visit by the tourism, civil aviation, environment and state information ministers to Sharm el Sheikh, as well as 30 foreign ambassadors to celebrate the World Tourism Day. Ambassador J. Vukadinovic participated in cycling marathon among the group of ambassadors.
During the visit to the Red Sea resort city which started on Thursday, the Egyptian ministers and foreign ambassadors toured Sharm el Sheikh International Airport to inspect the anti-COVID-19 precautionary measures applied at it, in addition to health, hygiene and safety protocols applied in hotels.
