The director of "Cairo-cature", Samira Said, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Cairo on July 8, 2019, delivering the award for the prominent Serbian cartoonist Milenko Kosanovic, won at the first Egyptian caricature competition held last year in the Alexandrian Museum, “Mahmoud Said” under the auspices of the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Ines Abdel Dajim. The competition was attended by more than 300 artists from 50 different countries. The "Cairocature" organization brings together artists specialized in the field of caricature from all over the world to show their unique talent and free style, sharing the experience with their colleagues at the same time. On this occasion, a continuation of artistic cooperation between the artists of Egypt and Serbia was agreed in the form of organizing joint competitions, which will be a unique opportunity for better acquaintance with stylistic techniques and strengthening cultural relations.
