Major General Ahmed Ibrahim, Governor of Aswan, received First Deputy Prime Minister of the State of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, in the presence of the Serbian Ambassador, Jugoslav Vukadinovic, at Aswan International Airport.
The Governor of Aswan stressed the depth of the historical relations between Egypt and Serbia, which witnessed a great development and momentum during the recent period, in light of the keenness of the political leadership of the two countries to increase and develop areas of cooperation.
He expressed his aspiration to establish a cooperation and twinning agreement between the city of Aswan and the Serbian city Uzice, the second largest hydropower station of its kind in Europe, as well as the status of the neighboring Zlatibor region as a spa resort.
