Under the auspices of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, in the period from 03.12. to 05.12., the  First "EDEX 2018"  Fair of Arms and Military Equipment was held in Cairo. The Fair represented global platform for displaying the latest military products of participating countries, as well as the latest technology of defense industry in the world. On this occasion, the position of Egypt as a leading and active country in this part of the world  is affirmed with the possibility of organizing international military activities at a highest level which at the same time strengthening the strategic role that Egypt plays in the region and confirms its contribution to overall regional and international security and stability. More than 373 companies from different countries of the world have presented the richness of their military production with the discussion of developments in the industry, ways of doing business and developing a partnership for future cooperation. Fair  "EDEX" was attended by representatives of companies from R. of Serbia "YUGOIMPORT SDPR J.P." and representatives of "Vlatakom" with necessary assistance of Embassy of Republic of Serbia in Cairo.
