Major General Ahmed Abdullah, governor of the Red Sea region, together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Cairo, Jugoslav Vukadinovic, led a delegation from Egypt that was on a five-day visit to Serbia. On this occasion, the Agreement on twinning of two cities-Jagodina and Mars Alam was signed,  representing the upgrading of the deep-rooted historical relationship between the two countries, the strengthening of diplomatic relations lasting for 110 years and the rapprochement of two friendly nations. Various number of successful bilateral meetings were held with the officials of the Republic of Serbia, while business meetings with numerous tourism and other  sector companies paved the way for successful partnership, which will contribute to strengthening economic cooperation between Serbia and Egypt. Return visit of the delegation of the local self-government of the city of Jagodina to Arab Republic of Egypt is expected on November 14, 2018.-19.11.2018.
