First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, was in a visit to the city of Aswan, center of the governorate of the same name in southern Egypt, on October 15, 2018.
During the visit, Minister Dacic met with the officials of the town of Aswan where among other things he discussed possibilities for improving cooperation in the field of tourism, bearing in mind the large number of Serbian citizens who visit Egypt during the year.
The development of comprehensive bilateral relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Serbia and the promotion of cultural-touristic and other forms of cooperation is additionally contributed by the initiative at the level of local self-governments on the development of cooperation agreements and twinning between the city of Uzice and the Egyptian city of Aswan which signing is expected in the next period.
