            Embassy of Serbia in Cairo, as every year, has marked properly 9th of May, Victory Day in World War Two. This time representatives of the Embassy, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Branko Nikolic and Defence Attashe Lt.Col. Zvezdan Kricak, have visited Fayid War Cemetary in that small town about 130 km south-east of Cairo on Great Bitter Lake which is part of the Suez Kanal and is situated between cities of Suez and Ismailia.
            On that ocasion a wreath was laid at central monument of this perfectly maintained cemetary with almost 2,000 graves, including six of them belonging to brave soldiers and officers of Yugoslav Army and Air Force and one civilian. Among members of over 40 nations put on eternal rest there, most of soldiers are British, than German and after that from many allied countries and territories, with only one Egyptian.
