Printer Friendly Version Serbian Embassy in Cairo organized an exhibition and awarded best art works of students of Helwan University, 15/03/2015 @ 16 March 2015 01:12 PM

Serbian Embassy together with Faculty of Art Education – Helwan University, organized the Second Student Juried Art Exhibition for the best student’s artworks. Award ceremony and opening exhibition were held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 with the attendance of the representatives of Ministry of Culture of Egypt, Faculty of Art Education - Helwan University, Embassy of Serbia in Cairo, representatives of foreign embassies and Alexbank, students, media representatives and other guests.
Among more than 120 participants, special Jury awarded the first five artworks with: First prize:  Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Abd El All; Second prizes: Ms. Safaa Mostafa Bastawesy and Ms. Hagar Hussain Khalifa; Third prizes: Ms. Dina Mohamed Aly and Mr. Mostafa Ahmed Hatem. 
Guests were welcomed by Mrs. Hanan Monieb, First Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Eshak Cotb, Dean of the Faculty of Art Education, representative of the Embassy of Serbia Mr. Branko Nikolic, Minsiter-Councellor.
Exhibition of students artworks is organized by the Embassy of Serbia in Cairo and the Faculty of Art Education of the Helwan University and under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt and Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt, and sponsored by Alexbank.
The exhibition will be open until 19th March 2015 at the Ahmed Basiouny Gallery – Faculty of Art Education, 12 Ismail Mohamed St. Zamalek, daily from 10 a.m. until 16 p.m.
