The film audience has had the opportunity to see a drama film “Circles”, directed by Srdan Golubovic, during the Sixth Panorama of the European Film which took place in Cairo from 27th of November until December 7th 2013.
The film has been played several times during the Festival in three movie theatres: the Plaza Movie Theatre in Sheikh Zayed, Odeon in central Cairo and Galaxy in Manial. The closing film screening has been attended by the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Cairo, the Misr International Films Festival, an audience from Egyptian academics societies, as well as a large number of students, journalists and Serbian community living in Egypt.

The film is inspired by an event which occurred during the war in Bosnia in 1993. The film “Circles,” premiered at Festivals Sundance in 2013, won World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award. The film has been selected as the Serbian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards. The film won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the 63rd  Berlin International Film Festival and the Grand Prix, Golden Apricot at the 2013 Yerevan International Film Festival, Armenia, for Best Feature Film as well as the Grand Prix at 2013 CinEast Festival
